In this workshop session attendees will hear presentations from two of the worlds top Fortune 100 companies. Speakers will
discuss how both General Motors and General Electric have been incorporating Web 2.0 Social Networking applications into the business both internally
and externally.
Adam Denison (Coordinator, Social Media Communications at General Motors) will be speaking on GM's efforts to engage members of various
social networks. Denison will show how GM has had success in Facebook, Flickr and Twitter, as well as some automotive-specific social networks.
Denison will share best practices and lessons learned from his time out on the networks talking about GM. If you've ever wondered how a company
can be involved in social networks and how to best leverage them for business purposes, then you don't want to miss this session.
Sukh Grewal (Manager, GE Support Central - General Electric) will share his experience over the last 7 years of communities and networks at GE.
